When the Cristina Foundation launched the Cristina Connections magazine nine years ago, we hoped to share with our readers news and information about the work of our grassroots partners and to feature donors who made a difference with the contribution of their equipment. It also gave us a way to showcase insightful interviews with individuals who are leaders in the world of Information Technology; Vint Cerf (a father of the Internet), Michael Dell (founder and CEO of Dell), to name just a few. We were very pleased with the positive reception we got from these early efforts.

In 2001, we created a new home for the magazine on its own website and just recently changed to a e-Newsletter format to enable us to communicate more regularly to a wider audience through a monthly mailing called similarly Cristina Connections.

The first issue of the newsletter was launched in April of 2008 for distribution to thousands of donors, non-profit recipients and industry contacts all over the world.
